BOURGEOIS

Sean N. Bourgeois, of Austin, died Saturday October 11, 2003 at the age of 24. Sean was a 1997 graduate of Jersey Village High School, where he played tuba in the marching band. Following graduation, he attended the University of Texas, and was a member of the "Longhorn Hellraisers". He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Texas Longhorns, and was also involved in many community and church activities. Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Patricia Bourgeois; two sisters, Larisa Bourgeois and husband Jason Griffin, and Nicole Bourgeois; grandparents, Harry and Helen Bourgeois, grandfather, John Roche; girlfriend Rachel Lacey, and other numerous relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, October 16 at Pat H. Foley & Co., Houston, TX with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 17 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9915 Hollister, Houston, TX. A memorial fund has been established in Sean's honor at the University of Texas at Austin.
